Do you compete? Are you thinking about starting? Join us for this Summer’s Fencing Camp with Wagner College’s Head Coach David Sierra and Maestros Gil Pezza, Carlos Valencia and Marco Secco. This five day camp will focus on competition.

This camp is for fencers. Please check out our Battle Camps if you are new to the sport.

Join Coach Julian for a day of bouting, games and fun.

This class is a small group introduction to Archery. Your range fee, a finger tab and arm guard are included in the price of the course.

Our archery classes start with the Explore Archery program. This is a six week course, with 60 minute classes for new archers ages 8 and up.

A USA Archery Recreational membership is required for any participant who attends an Explore Archery program.

This class focuses on building a strong foundation in archery fundamentals.

For members between 8 and 13 years old. Consisting of one class, one Trio lesson and a minimum of one hour of Open Range weekly.

For members between 13 and 19 years old. Consisting of two 1.5 classes, one monthly private lesson and a minimum of two hours of Open Range weekly.

Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) is open to youth archers aged 8 to 20 and is designed to grow with the youth archer. Introductory JOAD classes teach the fundamentals of proper shooting form; as the young archer develops, they will learn more advanced techniques and earn achievement awards.

At the same time, we will be teaching our Adult Archery Program. The Adult Archery Program is a program of USA Archery for adults ages 21 years and older. Participants in the Adult Archery program can enjoy the sport recreationally or progress to the excitement of competition.

Adult Archery 2 is for archers who are 21 and over, or are accompanied by a participating parent. This class can either be a stand alone class or combined with another Adult 2 class or with Unlimited Open Range. The purpose of this class is to drill down into your shooting technique and improve your shooting scores and have fun. Enrollment for this class is with a coaches permission following an introductory cycle of Trio lessons.

Team Artemis is our women's only archery team.

Go Outdoors! Improve your game and learn to shoot outdoors. This class starts in April and wraps up in the beginning of August just in time for Summer Nationals. This class meets off-site at Burgundy Farms Country Day School in Alexandria, a 20 minute drive from the club.

Open Range for members of the JOAD and Adult Achievement Archery programs.

You must be a member of USA Archery and a member of Nova Archery Club to shoot at our range.

As with all good instruments, periodic tune-ups are essential. Therefore, I invite you to tune in and join us for the NOVA ARCHERY TUNE-UP TOURNAMENT

The Tournament 30 arrows will be held on Saturday, February 8 at 5 PM, with an 18 and 9 m distance to a 40 or 60 cm target.

Our Beginner Fencing Classes introduce the fundamentals of fencing including footwork, handwork and the rules of the sport in a fun, exciting and supportive atmosphere. We love to teach fencing.

Fencing is a competitive sport of strategy, finesse, skill, and endurance. It is a great sport that develops focus, strategic thinking and good sportsmanship. Fencing is a unique sport where body type does not dictate your success. Success is the result of deliberate practice and rigorous technique as taught by our coaches.

This is a twice a week class that meets for 4 weeks. Ages 7 to 12. Equipment rental is included in the cost of the course.

Adult epee and foil class with footwork, drills against dummies and partner drills. This class focuses on both refining techniques and learning bouting strategy.

This class is for teens 16+ and adults.

Membership in this class is open to fencers over 21.

Our saber class teaches footwork, technique and tactics. This class is for teen and adult fencers with fencing experience.

Single String Bow Tuning Seminar

In this seminar archers will learn how to perform basic bow set-up specifically for bare bow and Olympic Recurve bows, i.e., single string bows. Coach Dean will perform static and dynamic tuning in the proper sequence and provide tips and advice to help archers keep their bows in top working order.

Additionally, Coach Dean will discuss arrow shaft selection, building, and maintaining arrows.
